In June of 2015 the province of BC changed its regulations requiring all gas fire pits to be certified.  Other provinces in Canada and States in the US that are not currently requiring this are expected to move in this direction.  This means not just the burner needs to be certified but the whole fire pit so that it can be sold as a Decorative Gas Appliance.  All of Concrete Lifestyles Fire Pits have been tested rigourously with the  regulators and are certified to CSA and Ansi Standards fulfilling requirements for sale in Canada and the United States.  This will ensure that getting your installation permits for the table are easily attainable.  When shopping for a fire pit be sure to ask if the entire appliance has been approved (make sure it is just not the burner).
